About Gastro Pop
Originally created by Compound Genetics, Gastro Pop brings together Apples & Bananas and Grape Gas. Grape Gas also sits behind Glitter Bomb, and Compound has since used Gastro Pop as a parent itself, pairing it with The Menthol for Polar Pop.
The nose leans gas and diesel over grape, with a sweet note. The flavor is where the fruit takes over: grape, apple and candy, held in place by black pepper and gas.
For the Love Cannabis release, we selected a plant whose candy-and-apple fruit stayed bright against that peppery fuel, then selfed it. The S1 from that plant brings its selected profile into seed form.
Gastro Pop brings a relaxed, euphoric effect with a cerebral edge, and it reaches the New Releases alongside both of those Compound relatives.
Genetics
Apples & Bananas crossed with Grape Gas
Compound Genetics originally created Gastro Pop from Apples & Bananas × Grape Gas. The Love Cannabis release comes from one selected plant that was self-pollinated, making it an S1: the first selfed generation of that plant.

FAQ
What is Gastro Pop a cross of?
Gastro Pop is Apples & Bananas × Grape Gas, originally created by Compound Genetics. Grape Gas is also a parent of Glitter Bomb. Our seeds are an S1 of one selected Gastro Pop plant, so the cross stays the same.
What does Gastro Pop taste like?
Grape, apple and candy make up the fruit, with black pepper and gas giving it backbone. The nose is more fuel-forward, gas and diesel over grape with a sweet note, so the candy and apple come through mostly on the palate.
How long does Gastro Pop take to flower, and how much THC does it have?
Gastro Pop takes 7–9 weeks of flowering and has a THC range of 25–29%. Its effect is relaxed and euphoric, with a cerebral edge that keeps it from feeling one-note.
Has Gastro Pop been used in other crosses?
Yes. Compound Genetics has built several newer releases on it, including Facetz, Bling Blaow, 24 Karatz and Tigerz Eye. Polar Pop pairs a Gastro Pop selection with The Menthol, another Compound cultivar among our New Releases.
