What we collect
- Order details: your name, billing and delivery address, email address, phone number (optional), order notes (optional) and what you ordered.
- Card details: the card number, expiry date and security code you enter at checkout (see below).
- Site preferences: your chosen country, language, currency and light/dark mode, and the contents of your cart. See our Cookie Policy.
- Messages: anything you send us by email.
Our web server may also keep standard technical logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security and troubleshooting. To suggest your market and currency, we may use the country indicated by our hosting or network provider; we do not store your IP address for this.
Card details
Card details are sent over an encrypted connection and stored on our server in encrypted form only until your payment is processed. They are deleted once the payment has been processed, and automatically about 48 hours after your order at the latest. Card details are never included in emails.
How we use your data
- To process, pay for, pack, ship and support your order (contract).
- To keep records required by law, such as accounting records (legal obligation).
- To keep the site secure and working, and to remember your site preferences (legitimate interests).
We do not sell your data. We do not use advertising or marketing trackers, and we do not send marketing emails.
Who we share it with
- Delivery carriers and postal services, to deliver your order (name, address and, where needed, phone and email).
- Service providers that host this website and send our emails, under contract and only for these purposes.
- Authorities, where the law requires it.
Some of these recipients may be outside your country. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for these transfers.
How long we keep it
Card details: about 48 hours at most (see above). Order records: as long as needed to fulfil the order and meet legal and accounting requirements. Messages: as long as needed to deal with your request.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its use, or to receive a copy. Email [email protected]. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
