About Black Maple
Originally created by Harry Palms of Bloom Seed Co, the breeder behind Tropicana Cookies, Black Maple is Dulce de Uva × Sherbanger. Sherbanger is also a parent of Bloom's Candy Fumez, so the two share a side of the family.
Its nose is ripe grape and black-pepper spice over gas and an earthy base. The flavor goes darker: gassy and dank, with a sweet, creamy side that softens the funk.
For the Love Cannabis release, we selected a plant that kept the grape and pepper bright on the nose while holding that creamy, gassy depth on the palate. That plant was selfed, and the S1 that followed keeps the selected profile going in seed form.
The effect is relaxed, euphoric, happy and uplifting, with a sleepy side. Black Maple, Sherbanger and Candy Fumez are all New Releases.

Growing notes
Black Maple grows as a bushy plant of moderate height and suits both indoor and outdoor gardens. It takes well to ScrOG, and outdoor plants are usually ready for harvest around the middle of October.

Black Maple is Dulce de Uva × Sherbanger, originally created by Harry Palms of Bloom Seed Co. Sherbanger in turn is Sunset Sherbet × Headbanger. The Love Cannabis seeds are an S1 of one selected Black Maple plant, so the cross stays the same.
Why is Black Maple released as an S1?
S1 means one plant was self-pollinated to give the first selfed generation. We chose the Black Maple plant whose grape, pepper and gas came through most clearly, with the creamy, dank palate intact, and selfed it so that expression continues in seed form.
